Seven students and one teacher from Kunshan Yushan Middle School in Jiangsu Province arrived in the College on 4 August and spent one week with our students.

On Tuesday July 25, Lilydale Heights College hosted the International Middle Years Mathematics Olympiad. Over one hundred and twenty students from Asia and surrounding schools competed in the one-day event.

Lilydale Heights College is proud to be a partner of this initiative and access the Tech School throughout the year for specialised programs. On 18 April our students participated in the opening ceremony and had their first hands-on experience with the new environment.

A very big congratulations to Summer Jenkins whose Food and Technology folio, one of only twenty eight students, was shortlisted into the Top Designs Exhibition.

The highlight of the Instrumental Music Program is the annual End of Year Showcase. This year was no exception. The evening showcased the talent and growth of all of our Instrumental students.

The annual Yr 12 Studio art exhibition is on again and is held this year at the old Dick Smith store at Chirnside Park Shopping Centre. We were generously donated this space through Kimberly Place Community Centre and we greatly appreciate their continued support of our school.
